Appcelerator strongly recommends that developers complete the on-demand "Building Native Mobile Apps with Titanium" training and complete the hands-on lab exercises prior to taking this exam. Practical experience alone is typically not adequate to achieve a passing grade.
This single-attempt certification exam is designed to be taken "open book" online in 90 minutes or less. The exam presents 60 randomly selected questions from a much larger pool so that no two attempts are the same. Additional purchase will be necessary if another attempt is desired.
